Chlortetracycline is a broad-spectrum antibiotic active against gram-positive bacteria, gram-negative bacteria, Rickettsia, Chlamydia, Mycoplasma, Spirochaetes, and also some protozoa.
- Indication of use:
- For the treatment and control of respiratory and systematic infections associated with organisms sensitive to chlortetracycline
- Chickens: Infections synovitis, chronic respiratory disease (CRD) and air sac infection, reduction of mortality due to E.coli infections.
- Cattle: Reduction of liver condemnation due to liver abscesses, infection of anaplasmosis (Anaplasma marginale)
